Overview
It consists of a walking tour through the old town to taste 2000 years of history; since the Roman foundation of the city, the medieval ages and how it has evolved until today. Born neighbourhood, is famous for its tapas and for one of the most stunning Churches beloved by Barcelonians: Santa Maria del Mar; if you have read ‘The Cathedral of the sea’, then you will know what I am talking about. Can you belive that this XIV century Church was built in only 54 years? (It is optional to go in and visit it’s roof top with outstanding views of the city!! Cost is 15€ x 2 people). I will show you the shortest street of Barcelona, the narrow alleys with street names that take us back to the times of gilds and merchants. The beautiful palaces that house the interesting collection of Picasso Museum.
I will show you art, culture, literature and heritage adding a personal touch as a local with passion.ot.
