Tour from Barcelona
Does this tour run every day?
Yes! Sagrada Familia has provisional opening hours: Monday through Saturday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Sunday mornings international mass is held at the Basilica from 9 to 10 am.
On rare occasions, opening hours may be modified by Management when special events are held inside the Basilica.
Where do we meet?
The guide will pick you up at your Hotel/ accommodation if it is located close to Passeig de Gràcia. If your accommodation is located further away, I suggest to meet opposite the Batlló house (Passeig de Gràcia 43).
Can we include another site during this tour?
Of course! If you are interested in any other Barcelona sites such as: Casa Batlló, Casa Milà, Casa Vicens, Palau de la Música or Hospital Sant Pau, etc, you can add an extra hour and extend your tour! Ask me for further information.
Is there a dress code?
Sagrada Familia is a Catholic church, visitors must dress appropriately. Visitors are not allowed to show their shoulders or legs above the knee inside of the Church. If you are visiting Barcelona in the summertime, just make sure to bring a scarf to cover your shoulders before entering and avoid wearing shorts that day. Swimwear is not allowed. No see-through clothing. Visitors will not be allowed to enter wearing special clothing to celebrate any sort of festivities, nor with any decorations designed to distract or draw attention for artistic, religious, promotional or any other purposes.
Does Sagrada Familia include climbing to the towers?
Unless you specifically request it, the tour does not include climbing the towers; currently, due to covid restrictions the access to the towers is temporarily closed until further notice.
What is the transportation method?
This is a walking tour but we will require transportation to get to the sites. It is very easy and cheap to move around by taxi or underground. I can also arrange a chauffeured private Mercedes minivan at an extra cost.
Can I do this tour if I have walking difficulties?
This is a 100% walking tour. Your tour guide will always adapt to your pace and needs.
Can I do this tour if I am on a wheelchair?
Absolutely! Park Güell and Sagrada Familia are accessible for wheelchairs. Please inform the guide in advance to take it into account.
